My name is Amira Garza, and I'm running to be your next City Treasurer here in Taylor. 

I'm running to bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to the Treasurer's office, and I'm committed to keeping the office independent and free from politics—because City Hall should work for everyone. 

After graduating from the University of Michigan - Dearborn (Go Blue!) with a degree in Marketing and Management, I pursued a career in banking and financial oversight. I'm the most experienced candidate running for Treasurer, and the ONLY candidate with the experience needed to serve you in this position.
